Nitin is the Managing Partner at Dew Point, a firm based out of Goa, India involved in the business of HVAC controls & Indoor Air Quality as Manufacturer’s representatives. He is a Graduate Electrical Engineer with 35 years of experience in the HVAC&R industry.  Nitin began his entrepreneurial journey in the year 2000 and since then has been representing global HVAC brands across India. Prior to this, Nitin gained experience in the Pharmaceutical & FMCG manufacturing sector, managing the building facilities as well as HVAC projects. Nitin has been an active member of ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating Refrigerating & Air conditioning Engineers) since 2005, and has held Chapter, Regional & National leadership positions having served as the National Secretary in 2011-12. He is also a member of IAQA & ISIAQ. Nitin has been an ASHRAE member since 2009 and at the Chapter has served as the President of the Mumbai Chapter besides having chaired various other Chapter committees. He has served as the Sub Regional Chair at Region at Large for the period 2017-20 coordinating the activities of Chapters across India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh and then served on the Society Membership Committee as the Regional Vice Chair – Region at Large (RAL) during the period 2020-23. He has also served on the Society Communications committee. Nitin is the recipient of the ASHRAE Chapter Service award, Regional Service award & the Distinguished Service Award. Included in the list of RAL Regional Lecturers program since 2023 and as a ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer (DL) from July 1, 2024, Nitin speaks on topics pertaining to Indoor Air Quality. Nitin currently serves on TRG4 IAQP as a Corresponding member, on TC4.3 as the Sub Committee Chair (Programs) and as a Consultant on SSPC 62.1and will be the Assistant Region Chair (ARC) for Region XV for the period 2024-25.
