Mr. Krishna Kumar Mitra is a Science Graduate with Post Graduation and a Master in Business Administration. He has 36+ years of experience in the field of Thermal Insulation and is working as President in Lloyd Insulations (India) Limited and presently CEO of Eastern India Operations stationed in Kolkata. He is associated with various Professional Societies in India and abroad for the purpose of Technical Knowledge Sharing and presentation on Thermal Insulation Systems. Member of ASHRAE (The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers). Presently ARVC SR-2 CTTC, ASHRAE DL and RAL Regional Lecturer. Now appointed as RVC, CTTC, Region XV, ASHRAE. Recipient of ASHRAE Chapter Service Award. Member of ISHRAE (The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) and presently RD – East and Member of ISHRAE Technical Committee. ISHRAE DL. Recipient of ISHRAE Chapter Service Award. He is associated with various Government Bodies for the development of documents pertaining to Thermal Insulation System. He has been a member of the Core Committee of Experts for drafting of Energy Conservation Sustainable Building Code of India in 2023. Presently a member of various committees on Thermal Insulation at the Bureau of Indian Standards, Govt. of India. He is a member of the technical committee for standardization of Cold Storage specifications by the National Horticulture Board / National Centre for Cold Chain Development, Govt. of India, and the Acoustical Society of India. Widely visited Europe, Japan, China, USA, Middle East & Far East countries. He has participated in various National & International level seminars and presented papers including ASHRAE Conferences at USA & Kuwait. He had attended Cold Storage training programs at Paris organized by NCCD, Govt. of India and Insulation Training Programs at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Naetsu, Japan. He is a resource person for various PSU’s. Recently presented ‘Thermal Insulation System for Building – Pathway to Decarbonisation’ at the 3rd Developing Economy Conference in Mumbai. He also visits Educational Institutes / Colleges regularly to deliver lectures on Thermal Insulation System for Green and Energy Efficient Buildings. He also delivered lectures on Modern Energy Efficient Cold Storage Construction & Insulation System in various seminars / conferences.
