Dear Region XV members,
It is both an honour and a responsibility to serve as your Director and Regional Chair (DRC) for Region XV ; a region that is as diverse in geography as it is rich in talent, dedication, and innovation.
This year, our guiding theme is SYNERGY : “Where Water Flows, Energy Grows.”
SYNERGY reflects more than just the interaction of systems, it symbolizes collaboration between people, integration of technologies, and alignment of purpose across disciplines, generations, and regions. From students stepping into the world of HVAC&R to seasoned professionals driving policy and innovation, each of us plays a unique and essential role in shaping the built environment.
ASHRAE’s mission of advancing technology for humanity is only achievable when we move forward together.
And in Region XV, we have a proud history of doing just that. This year, we will focus on:
- Empowering our youth and students through engagement and education
- Driving sustainability and decarbonization through shared knowledge and technical leadership
- Encouraging inter-chapter collaboration for stronger, united progress
